It's time again to update you on all the cool things happening on Club Lighthouse! This newsletter represents a summary of the best of what's going on at the web site.

To properly use this newsletter, you should first log into the Club web site directly from this newsletter. Once you are logged in, you can click on any of the links in this newsletter to jump directly to the article or download of interest. To start your web browser now and log into Club Lighthouse, click here! That will open up a browser window on your computer. You can then Alt-Tab back to this e-mail and select any link in this email. Clicking on the link in this email will cause that article or forum post to appear in the browser window (you will have to Alt-Tab BACK to that browser window to see it).

Treatment Proposal Tracking System
One of the weaker parts of PracticeWorks is its treatment proposal. You have virtually no control over how it looks, or what data it contains, there's no way to supress individual details (each procedure fee and insurance estimate), there's no way to add custom comments to it for each patient, etc., etc. And there's no way to track who presented a treatment plan to the patient, nor how much of that plan was accepted by the patient. The Lighthouse Treatment Proposal Tracking System addresses those shortcomings.

The Rx Farm
Version: 4-19-2004
A collection of Rx's that aren't in the PW Plus Pack. These simply add to your list of Rx's when you write a new one. (We've also updated the PW Plus Pack Rx's to add the "Phoned in" option that's on all the LH Rx's. To download them, click here.) See the article that describes how to install and use them.

For LDavis - Account aging by activity
Version: 2-11-2004
An Analysis Expert that breaks down all accounts with balances by their most recent activity. Any account with a patient payment, an insurance payment, or new charges within the last 30 days is "Current", etc. UPDATED 4/9/2004: Credit balances are shown separately. (NOT a recommended way to manage your A/R. But a member requested it, and we couldn't talk them out of it, so we built it. If you're not the one who requested this, you don't want it!)

Monitors for 1 month, for Dr. Neumeister
Version: 05-01-2004
Production, Collection (both gross and net), new patient count, hygiene production - all by doctor, and all for one calendar month. Requested by Dr. Neumeister's office.

Production Analysis by Code
Version: 4/21/04
An analysis expert that totals production by code for any date range. Production is based on the entire office and is NOT broken down by producer. Here's the post that prompted this analysis expert: click here

Treatment Proposal Tracking System
Version: 04-21-2004
A system for preparing a very nice looking treatment proposal for patients, and for tracking case presentation and acceptance. Consists of a Form, a Document, a Contact Expert, an Analysis Expert and several AutoLinks. See the article that describes the system by clicking here.

LH E-Mail Prompter
Version: 1.0
This is a quick little package for offices that are realizing the benefits to recall, scheduling, confirming, and treatment plan follow-up that comes from having a correct e-mail on every active patient. If the email field is blank while either dropping an appointment, checking in an appointment or checking out an appointment - the staff is reminded to try to collect an email or fill in a place holder value for the patients that decline or do not have one. Each auto-link can be turned off if desired.

Recall CE for Harold Christiansen
Version: 05-01-04
A recall Contact Expert for all patients due in a prompted date range who also have a tx plan "In progress." This was created to address a specific situation in Harold's office. We don't recommend anyone else use this.

Oral Health Progress Form for Keith Baetz
Version: 5-3-2004
A Form for recording 4 bits of information about a patient's perio status. Created for Keith Baetz.
